The degree to which an operator takes HSE seriously is one of the most important aspects on which it is assessed and selected. Explicitly requiring that attention be paid to the rules is therefore a must. The same applies to making efforts to promote understanding of and compliance with the rules among all employees, both offshore and in the offices. After all, everyone benefits from a culture in which alertness is the absolute top priority.
