Taking safety seriously means wanting to improve, all the time. An open discussion in the workplace itself can make an important contribution towards enhancing risk awareness and therefore to safe working. Whenever the various parties spend a little time together every now and then, they come to better appreciate and understand each other’s work and circumstances. However, it requires a willingness in advance to listen to each other and learn from each other, as colleagues.
